The 5-time Road Racing World Champion Marc Márquez (Honda) showed his performance beating Brad Baker (Honda), winner of the last Superprestigio Dirt Track edition, with the best timed lap in the practice prior to the Event in the St Jordi Arena, which will start tomorrow at 6.00 pm.
Following to the Official Picture taken with 9 of the 10 World Champions that will take part in this 4th edition, the riders had their first taste of the oval track with their categories split in three groups (Open and Superprestigio)
Marc Márquez was the fastest rider in the 200 meter clay race track, in 1.12.029 followed by the British Oliver Brinley (Kawasaki), with the Spaniard Marcos Ramírez (Honda) being third fastest in front of Ferran Cardús (Suzuki), Toni Elías (Suzuki) and the American Brad Baker.
Marc Márquez: “The level of competitiveness every year is bigger. In the prior practices before the Event I used to be quickest but now you see a couple or three guys that go faster than you! It is going to be a though event and it will be difficult to get to the Final. The start is crucial, and when you have rivals with the level of Brad (Baker) to overtake is simply impossible!”
